Built by Someone Who Understands the Field
SafeShift was founded by Wesley Yielding, a nationally registered paramedic with direct experience operating within occupational health environments. Having worked alongside mobile medical teams and observed firsthand the documentation burden placed on providers in the field, Wes identified a structural gap in the market: the tools available were built for hospitals, priced for hospitals, and completely misaligned with how mobile occupational health actually operates.
With a background spanning emergency medicine, healthcare IT, and software infrastructure, the SafeShift platform was designed from the ground up around the real workflows of real providers — not adapted from a billing system. Every feature exists because someone in the field needed it.
